HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE COMMERCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 150

Amendment sponsored by Representative Georgene Louis

    1. On page 6, line 16, after "lender", insert ", except a modification without any additional cost to the consumer,".

    2. On page 26, strike lines 16 through 19 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new paragraph:

             "(17) the total number and percentage of borrowers of all loan products whose sources of income, as provided by borrowers in the loan origination process, included a means-tested public benefit as defined by 8 U.S.C. Section 1613(c);".

    3. On page 34, line 7, strike "generation" and insert in lieu thereof "loan file origination or loan payoff, whichever is the later,".

    4. On page 34, line 10, after "licensee", insert ", except a modification without any additional cost to the borrower,".

    5. On page 36, line 20, after "licensees", insert "and non-identifiable by licensee".
