AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN TO FUND THE COMMISSION'S EXECUTION OF ITS STATUTORY DUTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the commission on the status of women for expenditure in fiscal year 2020 to fund the commission's execution of its duties under Section 28-3-2 NMSA 1978. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2020 shall revert to the general fund.
