AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CRIME VICTIMS REPARATION COMMISSION TO FUND A STUDY ON SEXUAL ASSAULT ON PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the crime victims reparation commission for expenditure in fiscal years 2020 and 2021 to fund a study on sexual assault on people with disabilities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2021 shall revert to the general fund.
