AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY TO FUND OPERATIONS FOR SIX CAREER TECHNICAL STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS STATEWIDE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2018 to support six career technical student organizations to accelerate career technical education programs for students statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2018 shall revert to the general fund.
