Mr. President:
Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 301
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 3, between lines 5 and 6, insert the following new subsection:
"B. The superintendent may issue a limited lines self-storage producer license to individual applicants who are owners or operators of self-service storage facilities.".
2. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
3. On page 3, line 12, after "owner", insert ", the operator".
4. On page 3, lines 12 and 13, strike "or operator" and insert in lieu thereof "who have been trained by the limited lines self-storage producer".
5. On page 5, line 4, after "trained", insert "in limited lines self-storage insurance".
6. On page 5, line 16, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof "or" and strike "or negotiation".
