    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 155, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 23, after "disability", insert "compensation".

     2. On page 3, lines 10 and 11, strike "as a way of attempting".

     3. On page 3, line 13, after "disability", insert "compensation".

     4. On page 4, line 2, strike the closing quotation mark.

     5. On page 4, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new subsection:

          "H. A termination, suspension or reduction of temporary total disability compensation benefits shall be limited to three months unless a workers' compensation judge orders a longer period of termination, suspension or reduction."".

     6. On page 5, line 18, strike "accident" and insert in lieu thereof "injury".

     7. On page 5, line 19, strike "terminates" and insert in lieu thereof "terminated".

     8. On page 6, line 12, strike the closing quotation mark.

     9. On page 6, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following new subsection:

          "H. A termination, suspension or reduction of benefits pursuant to this section shall be limited to three months unless a workers' compensation judge orders a longer period of termination, suspension or reduction."".
