AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE TO CONTINUE ITS ORGANIC PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2018 to continue the New Mexico department of agriculture organic program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2018 shall revert to the general fund.
