Mr. Speaker:

    Your LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ELECTIONS, LAND GRANTS AND CULTURAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 29

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 21, after the period, insert "The authority shall be a governmental entity of the state.".

     2. On page 2, between lines 22 and 23, insert the following new subsection to read:

          "C. Nothing in this section shall be construed as a waiver or alteration of the immunity from liability granted pursuant to the Tort Claims Act or as a waiver of any other immunity or privilege under law.".,

and thence referred to the ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE.
