MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE PUBLIC SERVICES TO THE INHABITANTS OF THE ROCK SPRINGS CHAPTER OF THE NAVAJO NATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 to provide public services to the inhabitants of the Rock Springs chapter of the Navajo Nation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
