AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE VETERANS' SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR A FULL-TIME-EQUIVALENT POSITION TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO VETERANS IN GALLUP.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the veterans' services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2017 for the salary and benefits for one full-time-equivalent position to provide services to veterans in Gallup. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2017 shall revert to the general fund.
