Mr. Speaker:

    Your BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 184

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 19, strike "A" and insert in lieu thereof "For each taxable year ending on or before December 31, 2025, a".

     2. On pages 2 and 3, strike Paragraphs (1) through (6) in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

                "(1) fifty percent of the first fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in qualified small business income;

                (2) forty percent of the second fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in qualified small business income;

                (3) thirty percent of the third fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in qualified small business income;

                (4) twenty percent of the fourth fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in qualified small business income;

                (5) ten percent of the fifth fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in qualified small business income; and

                (6) zero percent of qualified small business income that exceeds two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000).".

     3. On page 4, line 10, after "week", insert "for a minimum of twenty-six weeks per year".

     4. On page 4, line 14, after "week", insert "for a minimum of twenty-six weeks per year".,

and thence referred to the WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE.
