AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER FOR NATIVE AMERICAN FAMILIES, WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN ALBUQUERQUE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to contract for planning and development services for a domestic violence shelter for Native American families, women and children in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
