AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A VISITOR GATEWAY CENTER FOR THE CUMBRES AND TOLTEC SCENIC RAILROAD.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred six thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($106,250) is appropriated from the general fund to the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to purchase land and buildings to create a visitor gateway center in the village of Chama, contingent on the receipt of at least four hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($425,000) dedicated for that purpose and received from sources other than the state. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
