AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PROGRAM TO ENHANCE THE NUMBER AND SUCCESS OF STUDENTS PURSUING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS AND HEALTH-RELATED DEGREES AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to establish a program to enhance the number and success of students pursuing science, technology, engineering and mathematics and health-related degrees. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
