AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INDIAN AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO SUPPORT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ASSET DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR NATIVE AMERICANS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Nine hundred thousand dollars ($900,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Indian affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to support the establishment of asset development opportunities for the state's Native American population. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
