AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SERVICES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS THROUGHOUT NEW MEXICO.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One million nine hundred ninety-nine thousand seven hundred sixty-one dollars ($1,999,761) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2016 to contract with area agencies on aging for services for senior citizens, including, but not limited to: adult day care, case management, congregate meals, home-delivered meals, in-home respite care, household services, transportation or senior center services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2016 shall revert to the general fund.
