    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 123

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1.  On page 1, line 22, after “of”, insert “child

care”.,

    2.  On page 1, line 22, strike “in early childhood

education programs” and insert in lieu thereof “who have participated in a state-funded early childhood scholarship program or attained a degree in early childhood education”.,

    3.  On page 1, lines 24 and 25 and page 2, line 1,

strike “with at least two years’ demonstrated experience in achieving zero attrition among early childhood education teachers” and insert in lieu thereof “or entities to implement and mange the demonstration project in compliance with the Procurement Code”.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
