AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE INDIAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seventy-two thousand dollars ($172,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to fund the Indian resource development program, administered by the New Mexico state university American Indian program, to support recruitment and retention of American Indian students. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
