AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO SUPPORT THE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE AND THE AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. One million eight thousand dollars ($1,008,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 in the following amounts for the following purposes:

                (1) six hundred seventy-four thousand dollars ($674,000) to support the operation of the cooperative extension service; and

                (2) three hundred thirty-four thousand dollars ($334,000) to support the agricultural experiment station.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
