Mr. Speaker:

    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 30

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 15, strike "FOR CERTAIN ALTERNATIVE FUELS".

     2. On page 3, line 9, before "cubic", insert "standard".

     3. On page 6, line 7, strike "and".

     4. On page 6, line 9, strike "thereafter" and insert in lieu thereof "ending June 30, 2014".

     5. On page 6, line 9, before the period, insert the following:

"; and

                (5) for the period beginning July 1, 2014 and thereafter:

                     (a) for alternative fuel that is compressed natural gas, thirteen and three-tenths cents ($.133) per gallon;

                     (b) for alternative fuel that is liquefied natural gas, twenty and six-tenths cents ($.206) per gallon; and

                     (c) for alternative fuel not described in Subparagraph (a) or (b) of this paragraph, twelve cents ($.12) per gallon".

     6. On pages 6 through 8, strike Subsections D and E in their entirety.

     7. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
