AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE JULIAN SAMORA LEGACY PROJECT OF THE SOUTHWEST HISPANIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to support the Julian Samora legacy project of the southwest Hispanic research institute. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
