AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE INTERSTATE STREAM COMMISSION TO UPDATE THREE REGIONAL WATER PLANS AND MAINTAIN THE STATE WATER PLAN.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the interstate stream commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to update three regional water plans and maintain the state water plan. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
