Mr. Speaker:

    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 81

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, lines 1 and 2, strike "and associated penalties and interest" and insert in lieu thereof ", exclusive of penalties and interest,".

     2. On page 2, line 3, after "month", insert "equal to one-twelfth of the total amount to be distributed" and after "distributions", insert "from the motor vehicle suspense fund".

     3. On page 3, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new section:

     "SECTION 3. APPLICABILITY.--The provisions of this act apply to the net receipts attributable to the motor vehicle excise tax collected from sales occurring on or after July 1, 2013 and prior to July 1, 2014.".

     4. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.,

and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE.
