Mr. President:

    Your CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 289

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 5, after the comma, strike the remainder of

the line and strike line 6 in its entirety and insert in lieu

thereof "shall dedicate the revenue for the repayment of:

             (1) loan obligations to the federal government for

the".

    2. On page 2, line 10, after "repaid", strike the remainder of

the line and strike lines 11 through 13 in their entirety and insert

in lieu thereof "; and

             (2) revenue bonds issued only to fund construction,

expansion, operation or maintenance of a water delivery system in a

municipality that is a component of a federal water project.", 

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
