AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR ADULT LITERACY PROGRAMS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred seventy-two thousand two hundred dollars ($672,200) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to pay for adult literacy programs statewide. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
