AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR THE WATER INSTITUTE OF THE NORTHERN RIO GRANDE AT THE TAOS BRANCH CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eight thousand dollars ($108,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to pay for operations of the water institute of the northern Rio Grande at the Taos branch campus of the university of New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
