AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NURSE-MIDWIFERY PROGRAM IN THE COLLEGE OF NURSING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred forty thousand dollars ($640,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 for the nurse-midwifery program in the college of nursing at the university of New Mexico health sciences center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
