    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 78

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 11, strike "PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT" and insert in lieu thereof "BOARD OF REGENTS OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY".

     2. On page 1, lines 17 and 18, strike "public education department" and insert in lieu thereof "board of regents of eastern New Mexico university".

     3. On page 1, lines 18 and 19, strike "for management of" and insert in lieu thereof "to fund".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
