    Your LABOR AND HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 242

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 12, after "BE", insert "HIRED AS UNDERSHERIFFS OR".

     2. On page 3, between lines 15 and 16, insert the following paragraph:

                "(2) a retired member employed by a sheriff in an exempt position as an undersheriff pursuant to Section 4-41-5 NMSA 1978;".

     3. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.
