    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 4

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, lines 15 through 17, strike all numbers and insert in lieu thereof under the same columns:

          "16,822.8        9,757.7  26,580.5

           82,906.4        234,536.9 317,443.3

           53,384.8        153,555.1 206,939.9".

     2. On page 2, line 18, strike "363.0" and insert in lieu thereof "361.0" and strike "37.00" and insert in lieu thereof "38.00".

     3. On page 2, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following:

     "The other state funds and federal funds appropriations to the programs and infrastructure program of the department of transportation pertaining to prior fiscal years may be extended through fiscal year 2012 but not to exceed four hundred million dollars ($400,000,000).

     The other state funds appropriation to the programs and infrastructure program of the department of transportation includes twenty-six million two hundred thousand five hundred dollars ($26,200,500) for maintenance, reconstruction and related construction costs of state-managed highways.".

     4. On page 2, line 21, strike "1.2" and insert in lieu thereof "1.5".

     5. On page 2, line 22, strike "390" and insert in lieu thereof "365".

     6. On page 2, line 24, strike "240" and insert in lieu thereof "220".

     7. On page 2, line 25, strike "178" and insert in lieu thereof "160".

     8. On page 3, lines 11 through 13, strike the numbers under the "Other State Funds" and "Total/Target" columns and insert in lieu thereof:

          "90,990.8                       95,171.8

           33,643.3                        33,643.3

           92,032.0                        92,351.0".

     9. On page 3, line 14, strike "1,827.0" and insert in lieu thereof "1,834.0" and strike "15.7" and insert in lieu thereof "16.7".

     10. On page 3, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following:

     "The other state funds and federal funds appropriations to the transportation and highway operations program of the department of transportation pertaining to prior fiscal years may be extended through fiscal year 2012 but not to exceed eighty million dollars ($80,000,000).

     The other state funds appropriation to the transportation and highway operations program of the department of transportation includes six million dollars ($6,000,000) for additional contract maintenance on state-managed highways in the six transportation commission districts.".

     11. On page 3, line 16, strike "4,000" and insert in lieu thereof "2,750".

     12. On page 4, line 2, strike the numbers under the "Other State Funds" and "Total/Target" columns and insert in lieu thereof:

          "23,991.8                       24,930.4".

     13. On page 4, lines 4 and 5, strike the numbers under the "Other State Funds" and "Total/Target" columns and insert in lieu thereof:

          "14,272.2                       14,389.6

            6,909.2                        6,909.2".

     14. On page 4, line 6, strike "250" and insert in lieu thereof "251".

     15. On page 4, line 9, strike "%".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
