has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 15, before "FEDERAL" insert "ANY" and after "MEASURES" insert "THAT MAY OCCUR".

    2. On page 1, line 17, strike "is poised to pass" and insert in lieu thereof "has been considering".

    3. On page 1, line 18, after "reform" insert "legislation".

    4. On page 1, line 19, strike "all" and insert in lieu thereof "many components".

    5. On page 1, line 20, strike "calls" and insert in lieu thereof "call".

    6. On page 1, between lines 23 and 24, insert the following new paragraph:

    "WHEREAS, regardless of the status of any federal health care reform legislation this year, New Mexico must be in a position to make a well-planned response to a number of different health care reform options; and".

    7. On page 2, line 8, strike "the" and insert in lieu thereof "any".

    8. On page 3, line 13, before "federal", insert "any" and after "reform", insert "legislation".

    9. On page 3, line 16, strike "the" and insert in lieu thereof "any".

    10. On page 3, line 18, strike "the" and insert in lieu thereof "any".

    11. On page 3, line 22, before "federal", insert "any".,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
