AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SMALL FARM INSTITUTE FOR EDUCATION, OUTREACH AND RESEARCH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2011 to provide staffing, education, outreach and research to be conducted by the small farm institute. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2011 shall revert to the general fund.
