    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 649

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, line 22, strike the comma and insert in lieu thereof "or a".

    2. On page 4, line 23, after "ordinance", strike "or felony".

    3. On page 5, line 6, after "and", insert "that justice would be served by an expungement order and".

    4. On page 5, line 9, after "misdemeanor", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 10 up to the semicolon.

    5. On page 5, line 16, after "abuse", strike the remainder of line, strike line 17 in its entirety and strike line 18 up to the period.

    6. On page 5, between lines 18 and 19, insert a new subsection to read:

         "B. The provisions of Subsection A do not apply to a crime committed against minors or children or to a sex offense.".

    7. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
