AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT FOR A WOMEN'S SHELTER AND COMMUNITY SERVICES CENTER IN THE CITY OF GRANTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to fund operational expenses at a women's shelter and community services center in the city of Grants. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
