SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ toSENATE BILL 470, as amended

    1. Strike Senate Public Affairs Committee Amendments 2 through 10.

    2. On page 2, line 19, strike the comma and the remainder of the line, strike lines 20 through 22 in their entirety and insert:

"or a political subdivision. Thirty days prior to assessing retail customers a fee to recover actual costs incurred for the alteration, change, moving or relocation of infrastructure or facilities requested by the state or a political subdivision, a telecommunications company shall notify the commission in writing of the imposition of the fee that the company intends to impose on the company's retail customers and shall show the fee as a separate line item on the customer's bill.".

    3. On page 3, lines 11 and 13, strike each occurrence of "December 31, 2008" and insert in lieu thereof "July 1, 2009".
