AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE TOURISM DEPARTMENT TO FUND A FESTIVAL OF WORLD MUSIC AND CULTURE IN ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the tourism department in collaboration with the national Hispanic cultural center for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to fund a festival in Albuquerque of music and culture, including dance, crafts, food and educational workshops. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
