AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CONTINUED OPERATION OF A JUVENILE ASSESSMENT AND REPORTING CENTER IN LAS CRUCES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred seventy-six thousand dollars ($276,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 and subsequent fiscal years for the city of Las Cruces to support the continued operation of a juvenile assessment and reporting center in Las Cruces. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
