AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND SENIOR CITIZEN PROGRAMS IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. One hundred sixty-seven thousand nine hundred twenty-eight dollars ($167,928) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to fund senior citizen programs in Rio Arriba county as follows:

                (1) thirty-five thousand eight hundred sixty dollars ($35,860) to fund a head cook and van driver for the Alcalde senior center;

                (2) thirty-five thousand eight hundred sixty dollars ($35,860) to fund a head cook and van driver for the Truchas senior center;

                (3) fifty-three thousand six hundred seventy dollars ($53,670) to fund a head cook, van driver and site manager for the Chimayo senior center;

                (4) seventeen thousand seven hundred ninety- eight dollars ($17,798) to fund a van driver for the Coyote senior center; and

                (5) twenty-four thousand seven hundred forty dollars ($24,740) to fund an adult daycare aide to serve additional participants in the adult daycare program.

           B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
