    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 230

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 9, strike lines 13 and 14 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new paragraph:

             "(2) does not include a conditional discharge as provided in Section 31-20-13 NMSA 1978 or a deferred sentence when the terms of the deferred sentence are met;".

    2. On page 12, line 2, strike the second occurrence of "or" and on line 4, after the semicolon, insert "or".

    3. On page 12, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following new paragraph:

             "(7) a conditional discharge as provided in Section 31-20-13 NMSA 1978;". 

    4. On page 19, line 5, remove the brackets and line-through.

    5. On page 19, line 6, strike "commercial".

    6. On page 23, line 6, strike "not less than".,

and thence referred to the CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE.
