SENATE FLOOR SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL 206

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, lines 2 and 3, strike each occurrence of "specific".

     2. On page 6, line 5, after "quality" insert a period and:

     "The commission may adopt regulations for particular industries. The commission shall adopt regulations for the dairy industry and the copper industry.".

     3. On page 6, strike line 6 and strike line 7 through the period.

     4. On page 9, line 15, strike "A permit", strike line 16 in its entirety and strike line 17 through the period.

     5. On page 9, line 21, strike "No condition shall be imposed in" and insert in lieu thereof:

"After regulations have been adopted for a particular industry, permits for facilities in that industry shall be subject to conditions contained in the regulations. Additional conditions on".

     6. On page 9, line 22, strike "without" and insert in lieu thereof "may be imposed if the applicant is provided with" and strike "for the applicant".

     7. On page 9, line 24, strike "an" and insert in lieu thereof "a written".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
