AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PROGRAM FOR GUARDIANS OF AT-RISK YOUTH IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 for a program in Valencia county to provide holistic alternative healthy lifestyle workshops for parents, grandparents and guardians of youth who are victims of substance abuse or addiction or domestic violence or who are engaged in unhealthy and risky behaviors. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
