    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 175, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 10, after "department" insert "or the director's designee".

    2. On page 2, strike lines 15 and 16 and insert in lieu thereof "director of the instructional support and vocational education division of the public education department or the director's designee;".

    3. On page 2, line 18, after "education" insert "or the secretary's designee".

    4. On page 2, strike lines 19 and 20 and renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.

     5. On page 6, line 6, strike the ending quotation mark.

    6. On page 6, between lines 6 and 7, insert the following new subsection:

         "G. As used in this section, "educated in New Mexico" means having at least an associate's degree from an accredited two-year or four-year post-secondary educational institution in New Mexico."".
