    Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 855

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 12, after "ELECTIONS", insert "; CHANGING THE COMPOSITION OF PRECINCT BOARDS FOR CERTAIN ELECTIONS".

     2. On page 2, line 6, after "B.", strike the remainder of the line and on line 7, strike the first occurrence of "precinct" and insert in lieu thereof "For primary, general and special federal elections".

    3. On page 2, line 10, after “different”, insert “major”.

     4. On page 2, line 13, after "C.", strike the remainder of the line and on line 14, strike the first occurrence of "precinct" and insert in lieu thereof "For all other elections".

     5. On page 2, line 16, after "(2)", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 17 up to the semicolon and insert in lieu thereof "one election judge".

     6. On page 2, line 18, after "(3)", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 19 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "one election clerk".

     7. On page 2, line 20 through page 3, line 7, strike Subsections D and E in their entirety.

     8. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

     9. On page 3, line 12, after "appointments", insert "for partisan elections".,

and thence referred to the VOTERS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE.
