AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS AND ACCESS TO STATE SERVICES IN THE PUEBLO OF PICURIS-PENASCO AREA.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to contract with an organization that provides community education and wellness programs and to provide access to essential state services in the Pueblo of Picuris-Penasco area. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
