AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING A TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT ALONG THE CENTRAL AVENUE-ROUTE 66 CORRIDOR IN ALBUQUERQUE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 for the city of Albuquerque to conduct a study of the feasibility of establishing a tax increment district along the Central avenue-route 66 corridor in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
