AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STAY IN SCHOOL PROGRAM IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 for a program that is a comprehensive dropout prevention program designed to provide at-risk youth employability and life skills training; tutoring and homework assistance; and after-school work experience opportunities serving Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
