    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

                FOR HOUSE BILL 368

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, strike lines 12 through 14 in their entirety and insert a new subsection as follows:

         "B. "child witness" means:

             (1) an individual under the age of sixteen who has been or will be called to testify in a noncriminal proceeding; and

             (2) an alleged victim under the age of sixteen who has been or will be called to testify in a criminal proceeding;".

    2. On page 8, line 14, strike "judge" and insert in lieu thereof "presiding officer".

    3. On page 8, line 25, strike "January" and insert in lieu thereof "July".
