HOUSE BILL 342

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 11, strike "REQUIRING THAT MEDIA LITERACY BE OFFERED" and insert in lieu thereof "PROVIDING FOR MEDIA LITERACY".

     2. On page 3, line 16, strike "Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, in" and insert in lieu thereof "In" and on line 17, strike "shall" and insert in lieu thereof "may".

     3. On page 7, line 2, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and on line 3, strike the line through "shall" and insert in lieu thereof "Media literacy may".

     4. On page 8, line 15, after the period, strike the remainder of the line and on line 16, strike the line through "shall" and insert in lieu thereof "Media literacy may".
