AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR AN EARLY CHILDHOOD TRAINING PILOT PROGRAM IN OTERO AND LINCOLN COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to pay for a pilot program through the Alamogordo campus that will provide on-site professional development training to early childhood service providers in Otero and Lincoln counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
