         Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 42

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 17, strike "FEDERAL" and after "DISTRIBUTION" insert "TO FEDERAL QUALIFIED ELECTORS AND OVERSEAS VOTERS".

     2. On page 1, line 18, strike the first occurrence of "federal".

     3. On page 1, line 19, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof ", including".

     4. On page 1, line 19, remove the brackets and line-through and after "services" insert ", and".,

and thence referred to the VOTERS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE.
